Yeka WPP - 2Project Galeforce

To finance the 750 MW Project Galeforce, which constitutes part of the YEKA WPP-2 programme, Enerjisa Üretim reached an agreement with financial institutions for the provision of financing of up to USD 1.012 billion.

The financing consortium includes leading local and international financial institutions such as the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC),J.P. Morgan, HSBC, KfW IPEX-Bank, Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG),Akbank, and Proparco, all of which have extensive experience in financing major infrastructure and energy projects worldwide.

In addition, Euler Hermes participated in the financing transaction by providing export credit guarantee support for a significant portion of the project. The financing was utilized for the development of the Armutçuk WPP, Akköy WPP, Ihlamur WPP, Ovacık WPP, Hacıhıdırlar WPP, Dampınar WPP, Harmancık WPP, Kestanederesi WPP, and Uygar WPP projects located in the provinces of Çanakkale, Aydın, and Balıkesir under the Project Galeforce.
